A Reflection Of Redirection
Poet and philosopher John O'Donohue writes of consciousness, "there is a mirror in the human mind."
Of Nature he writes, "light, which enables us to see everything, cannot see itself; light is blind."
The mind reflects the body. When we speak, how often is it we speak of ourselves, even as we describe a landscape? Speach seems not all that different from the rush of a waterfall or the rustle of leaves. They too speak of themselves. A leaf does not ascribe itself to the waterfall. When the mind ascribes itself to another person it loses it's body. A projected mind is a lonely mind. A mind that reflects the body is a mind in tune with Nature.
